Home Staging has become an essential partner with the Real Estate business in the 21st century. As a proven way to maximize your home's positive features and minimize its time on the market, staging helps you realize your greatest profit potential.

A Midnight Moon reaches beyond traditional staging with a philosophy of Conscientious Design. This places a high value on respect for the resources of both our clients and our environment. Our mission is to help prospective buyers see themselves living happily in your home!

What Is Home Staging?

Home staging helps you to accomplish the most important step in presenting your home for sale: Creating great first impressions! Staging accentuates your home's positive features and minimizes the negatives, helping buyers to make an emotional connection and picture themselves living there.

What's the Benefit of Staging?

The investment you make in staging is less than:

According to the National Association of Realtors, for every $1.00 sellers invested in staging, they received $4.00 back – what an excellent return on investment!

Perhaps most importantly, a Stager will work with you to help you feel in control of your home sale. Our personal commitment is to work with you throughout the sales process to ensure that your house is represented in the best way.

Re-Design: Loving where you Live

Not ready to sell right now? Love your neighborhood, but not so sure about your house? Can't really afford to move up to the house you want? Re-design employs proven staging techniques in combination with your personal style, bringing your vision to your current home. We can do a room or the whole house, focusing on organizing, re-thinking colors, and bringing in a few key pieces to update the overall style.

Who We Are

Home Staging and Re-Design: Donna Stokes Smith.

I've been happily re-designing since my college days, when neighbors would ask me to help with a room that “just didn't look right”. While most of my work has been focused in sales, leading to a career in sales coaching and management, I have continued to study design and the visual arts, both formally and on-the-job. I am so happy to have merged my 2 best talents, sales and design, in a career that is fulfilling in so many ways. I love to solve problems; I love helping people feel good about their homes, and I love to sell. What better work to do than help you sell your home!

Photography: Michael Smith-Sardior.

My training as an artist began in college where I studied 3 dimensional and visual arts. Photography became my medium of choice about 16 years ago. As a photographer I've made a serious work of portraying things as the eye sees them, focusing on that which is most important to the person who would be seeing them. I've won several awards in juried shows, and held the position of Critique Chair of the Flagstaff Photography Club for 2+ years, critiquing and instructing in methods of photography and presentation. What I bring to A Midnight Moon is a professional representation of your home in its best light, as you want your buyer to see it.

What We Can Do for You:

With proven staging techniques and professional photography, we will work with you in your home to design an environment that will be inviting to your prospective buyers and yet comfortable to live in and easy to maintain. We'll show you how to find your perfect presentation within your budget with creative re-purposing of items and objective organization.

If you want to re-design your living space for you (not for sale), we'll help you see possibilities and realize your dream while respecting your budget and using most, if not all, of your existing pieces.
